I kinda relate to Velma here as I tried so hard to be straight, before finding the courage to come out as gay.

its interesting to be that buy making lois slightly less perfect. aka les of a supermodel ms perfect and more of an overeager incidental chaos gremling she became so mutch more of a charakter. she is stil pretty, devoted to her job, has basikly the exact same soltial situation (allbe it at a yunger stage of her life and career) and she plays basikly the exakt same role in the narative yet thise tiny tweaks make her go from a generic love intrest to a charakter

Idk if it’s just me but I’m soo glad that stolas and blitz r gonna break up next season bc let’s face it their relationship wasn’t the healthiest and was hurting both of them. So happy that both of them especially blitz will both heal and reflect. And maybe blitz will FINALLY realize and acknowledge stolas’s true feelings for him.

TBH Shaggy x Velma was hinted since the 60s when it first came out. This show was the only one to actually put the fans speculation to rest. But why did they have to make her gay? It’s like after the fact she has feelings for Johnny Bravo and Shaggy they just said forget that she’s gay now. That homo movement sure has gained a lot of power over the years. Their agenda on turning the world rainbow will never completely succeed but I would be blind to say it hasn’t made progress.

I also think the break will be part guilt, “you never loved mama or me, you love him!” Having that thrown in his face I don’t think Stolas could handle that well and he see what that affair is doing to his daughter so it could be the push to break it off 🤷🏻‍♀️

This show, as much as I enjoyed it and is one of the best Scooby Doo media, really did Velma dirty and is the downfall of Velma. It literally committed "character assassination" on Velma as well as Scooby.

Misery Stink was complete trash. The online Flash game was actually pretty good though.

The hallmarks of a good relationship that Velma tries to force on shaggy are all already qualities he has as a person, she just couldn't see them as they were, because she didn't see shaggy for the person he is. I think shaggy was her breaking point of her sexuality in this show. She had probably been denying it to herself how she really felt and wanted shaggy to be the guy to prove her wrong and "fix" her, so she tries to force the relationship she thinks will "fix" her, but when that didn't work she had to come to terms with who she really wanted and what

I can think of one romantic moment in Avatar that made me feel things, and it was a short moment between Zuko and Mai. Zuko: You're so beautiful when you hate everything. Mai: I don't hate you. Zuko: I don't hate you too. And this only touched me recently because of personal experiences. I love the moment because of how specific the characters' personalities it is. You can write the most poetic and flirty love letter in the world, but in the end it won't be quite the same as showing through your personal self expression it that it's coming from you specifically.

I get the vibe that the sins can do whatever they want because they are untouchable. A goetia can be replaced with another goetia, hence the "precautionary heir" thing. But there's no successor or heir to a deadly sin. Also the goetia know they aren't on top, and have to fight to maintain their image and prestige. So a threat to that image is much more impactful.
